Marine insurance covers your goods in transit. Our insurance is All-Risk, which means that your merchandise is protected against physical loss or damage resulting from external causes, subject to the policy’s terms, conditions, and exclusions.
When booking our marine insurance, you can choose the portion of the trip during which you want the insurance to be active. When purchasing the insurance, you will need to select the category of the goods and provide their description. You can insure your goods up to 110% of the CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) value.
For Ocean cargo, you will be able to purchase the insurance no later than 3 weeks after the departure, or up to 4 weeks before the departure. For Air cargo, you will be able to purchase the insurance no later than the departure, or up to 4 weeks before the departure.
The insurance is underwritten by Anova Marine Insurance. To file a claim, please contact Anova directly.
